    Concrete Demolition Dubai

USF Demolition Works LLC offers specialist concrete demolition in Dubai — saw-cutting, core drilling, slab and beam removal, foundation break-out, and raft demolition. We combine high-reach excavators with hydraulic breakers, wire-saws, and wall-saws so each method matches the structural risk and access constraint.

    CONCRETE DEMOLITION IN DUBAI

Concrete demolition in live Dubai buildings demands more than brute force. We pre-scan every slab with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to map rebar, post-tension cables, and conduits before a single cut is made — protecting the structure and the contractor's programme.

Regulatory framework: Concrete demolition in Dubai is regulated by Dubai Municipality, the Dubai Development Authority (DDA) for free-zone buildings, and Trakhees for Palm Jumeirah / DMCC. Structural alteration on existing buildings also requires a registered structural consultant's drawings and may require RTA approval where roads or bridges are affected.

WHY USF FOR CONCRETE DEMOLITION IN DUBAI

GPR slab scanning before every saw cut to map post-tension cables, rebar, and embedded services.

Diamond wire-sawing, wall-sawing, and core-drilling fleet for cuts that would be impossible with breakers.

Controlled mechanical demolition for foundations, raft slabs, and ground beams using high-reach excavators.

Vibration and noise monitoring on sensitive sites (occupied towers, hospitals, schools).

All concrete crushed and recycled where possible, with weighbridge documentation returned to the client.

    OUR PROCESS

A structured 5-step approach from site survey to plot handover.

    1

    Engineering Review

We review structural drawings, propping requirements, and the consultant's method statement before any cutting starts.

    2

    GPR Scanning

Slab scanned with Ground Penetrating Radar to mark rebar, post-tension tendons, and embedded conduits — cuts re-routed where needed.

    3

Saw / Core / Break Selection

We select wire-saw, wall-saw, core-drill, or hydraulic breaker per cut, balancing speed, vibration, dust, and access.

    4

    Controlled Removal

Cut sections lowered with chain blocks or excavator and removed by truck. Vibration monitored on sensitive structures.

    5

    Crushing & Recycling

Concrete is broken to recyclable size and sent to approved Dubai recyclers; weighbridge tickets returned to client.

    CONCRETE DEMOLITION COST FACTORS

Concrete demolition is quoted per linear metre (saw-cutting), per hole (core-drilling), or per cubic metre (break-out and removal) — never as a flat day rate. GPR scanning, propping, and disposal are listed separately.

    Cut method

Wire-sawing is the most expensive; hydraulic breaking is the cheapest. Method is chosen based on access and structural risk.

    Slab thickness

Cutting cost rises non-linearly with slab thickness — 600 mm slabs need different equipment than 200 mm.

    GPR scanning

Mandatory on post-tension slabs and any cut near unknown services — quoted as a separate line item.

    Vibration sensitivity

Hospitals, schools, occupied towers may need controlled saw-cutting and vibration monitoring instead of breaking.

    Disposal volume

Truck cycles to recycler are a function of cut volume — included in the quote at a per-truck rate.

    CONCRETE DEMOLITION DUBAI FAQS

What is GPR scanning and why is it needed?

Ground Penetrating Radar scans concrete to locate rebar, post-tension cables, and embedded conduits before cutting. Cutting a post-tension cable can cause sudden structural failure — GPR is mandatory for any cut on a post-tension slab and strongly recommended elsewhere.

Can you cut concrete in an occupied office building?

Yes. We use wire-sawing, wall-sawing, and core-drilling — quieter, lower-vibration alternatives to breakers — combined with dust-extraction so adjacent floors keep operating. We also work nights and weekends where the landlord permits.

Do you remove foundations and raft slabs?

Yes. After the superstructure is down, we break and remove strip footings, pad footings, and raft slabs using high-reach excavators with hydraulic breakers and shears, then truck the broken concrete to recyclers.

How much vibration does concrete demolition cause?

Wire-sawing produces almost no vibration. Wall-sawing and core-drilling are very low. Hydraulic breaking is the highest. We pick the right method to keep vibration within consultant-specified limits and can install vibration monitors on adjacent structures.

    Is the concrete recycled?

Wherever possible, yes. We send broken concrete to Dubai Municipality–approved recycling facilities where it is crushed into sub-base aggregate. Weighbridge tickets and the recycling certificate are returned to the client.
