Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how USF Demolition Works LLC uses cookies and similar storage technologies on usfdemolition.com, what each category is for, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more broadly.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information — like a preference you've set — between visits or page loads. We also use similar browser storage (localStorage) for the same kind of purpose, most notably to remember your cookie preference itself.
2. The categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the website to function correctly — for example, remembering the cookie preference you've chosen so we don't ask again on every page. These are first-party and cannot be switched off, because the site can't operate properly without them.
Analytics
Used to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are viewed, how people navigate — via Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. This is a third-party service. It only runs if you actively switch Analytics on in the cookie banner; it defaults to off.
Advertising / Marketing
Supports advertising measurement — specifically Google Ads conversion tracking, so we can tell whether an ad campaign led to a genuine enquiry. This is a third-party service (Google), loaded through Google Tag Manager. It only runs if you actively switch Advertising on in the cookie banner; it defaults to off.
3. Google Consent Mode
This site uses Google's Consent Mode. Until you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage are signalled to Google as denied by default — Google Tag Manager only loads in the background after page load and does not activate analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them. If you accept, that choice is sent to Google as a consent update; if you reject or take no action, it stays denied.
4. How your preference is stored
Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's localStorage on this device, under a single preference record — it is not itself a tracking cookie, it only remembers your accept/reject choice so we don't show the banner on every visit. Because it's stored per-browser and per-device, choosing a preference on one device or browser doesn't carry over to another.
5. How to change your preferences
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the link in the footer of this site, which reopens the same preference manager shown on your first visit.
You can also control or delete cookies directly through your browser's own settings — every major browser lets you view, block, or remove stored cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies, including necessary ones, may affect how parts of this site function.
6. Third-party services referenced in this policy
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads — analytics and advertising measurement, active only with your consent
- Vercel — hosting and performance monitoring, operating at the infrastructure level rather than through visible tracking cookies
7. Changes to this policy
We review and update this policy when the cookies or tools we use change materially. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
